Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by precisely repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish cars, while collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold brand excellence.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and completed auto body training or apprenticeship, with proficiency in common repair tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using common auto body tools and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace damaged parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles to factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines and verify quality.
