Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a collision repair technician to help disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to factory standards. You will work with estimators to create a complete repair plan and minimize time by identifying all required repairs, while following safety protocols.

The role requires 18+, possible I-CAR/ASE certification, and 2–3 years’ experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2–3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% repair plan.
• Identify all needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure according to work orders.
• Remove upholstery and related parts to access damaged areas; store parts to prevent damage.
• Repair body damage by hammering, filling, welding; ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before painting.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with Classic Collision SOPs, safety rules, and guidelines.
