Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an automotive body technician to perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly to support collision estimators and produce high-quality repairs. The role requires following procedural work orders, using hand and power tools, and maintaining safety and craftsmanship in a fast-paced shop.

Applicants should have 2–3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and a customer-focused, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle parts to assist collision estimators and prepare repair plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure following work orders for all operations.
• Remove upholstery and access damaged areas; store parts to prevent damage.
• Mend damaged body panels and weld or replace parts; ensure proper gaps and fit.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• Test drive and inspect repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Comply with procedures, safety rules, and guidelines.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
