Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an Auto Body Technician to join a growing team dedicated to safety, quality, integrity and heart in every repair. The role involves disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicles with a focus on efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of collision repair experience or relevant certifications, a valid driver's license, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• ICAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to help estimators assess damage and plan repairs.
• Identify needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Follow work orders to plan procedures across operations.
• Access damaged areas by removing upholstery, electrical and other components as needed.
• Repair or replace damaged parts and weld replacements in position.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools used in collision repair.
• Finish surfaces before handing over to Paint Dept. and ensure quality standards.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality.
