Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Lakeland, FL to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble, ensuring alignment, paint, and final inspection meet our quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical schooling or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of methods to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace damaged sections with parts.
• Weld, paint, and inspect vehicles to ensure quality.
• Complete work within labor time guidelines and verify accuracy.
