Job summary

The Boyd Group in Marion, AR is seeking an Auto Body Technician to meticulously assess, repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting tools, realigning chassis, replacing parts, and inspecting finished work to ensure KPIs are met. HS diploma or technical training/3-year apprenticeship required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage accurately.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repaint.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets KPI targets and quality standards.
• Work with others in the shop to complete repairs safely and efficiently.
