Job summary

The Boyd Group is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on meticulous vehicle repair and delivering an exceptional customer experience by restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Technicians will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, weld and repaint as needed, and work to meet KPIs while upholding brand standards. The position offers a flat rate compensation model and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plans repair work and prepares customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repairs dents, replaces parts, and repaints per factory specs.
• Inspects vehicles after repair to ensure quality and KPI targets.
• Safely operate tools in a noisy workshop environment.
