Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, realign frames, and replace parts while maintaining speed, quality, and safety standards.

Your role supports the WOW Operating Way and requires attention to detail and teamwork. You will work with body shop technicians to ensure repairs meet factory specifications and company KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with auto body tools and repair procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in noisy, odorous environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass, interior parts as needed.
• Weld, fit, and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
