Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous vehicle repairs and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence across every touchpoint.

You will work with a team to plan repairs, replace damaged parts and glass, and ensure work meets standards for KPIs. The position offers a flat hourly rate with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using tools such as cutting guns and plasma cutters.
• Repair dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint to factory spec.
• Ensure work is completed within labor time guidelines and inspect final work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
