Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician who will ensure exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality vehicle repair to restore pre-accident conditions. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold our Brand Ambassador commitment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Able to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of auto body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
