Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre‑accident condition, working with a team to uphold speed, quality, and customer excellence. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while meeting KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship. You’ll use a range of tools and collaborate with others to deliver exceptional customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle sections using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and parts; repair glass and interior parts.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles to factory‑specified paint or agreed standards.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
