Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high‑quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre‑accident condition.

The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, while collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of repair methods and tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers with various tools.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler resins, realign chassis, and replace parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, prepare and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
