Gerber Collision & Glass in Greer, SC seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align components to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while supporting speed, quality and customer excellence.

Full-time role requiring a HS diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and tool proficiency in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates using various tools.
• Hammer dents and apply filler to repair damage.
• Realign car chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to standard.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final results.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
