Gerber Collision & Glass in Charleston, WV is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous vehicle assessment and quality repair, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools to repair vehicles.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory or agreed specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles post-repair.
