Gerber Collision & Glass in Illinois is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise repair and quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, upholding our speed, quality and customer-excellence standards.

The role requires finishing work within labor time guidelines, collaborating with team members, and using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of tools and repair methods.

Responsabilités

• Execute the WOW plan and uphold service standards.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, frame damage, and apply fillers as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect results.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
