Gerber Collision & Glass in Champaign, IL is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and an exceptional customer experience, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with team KPIs, ensuring speed, quality, and excellence across every touchpoint.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair, with strong tool skills

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
• Proficient use of auto body tools and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure WOW plan execution aligns with daily operations.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts, and repaint as required.
• Weld and fit parts, ensuring proper alignment and restoration of factory finish.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
