Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Illinois to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs that restore pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align frames, and ensure quality against KPIs while upholding the brand’s commitment to speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Align chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to KPIs.
