Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair and quality restoration of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align frames while upholding our standards of speed, accuracy, and customer excellence.

Work with a collaborative team, follow WOW guidelines, prepare cost estimates, and use cutting tools, hammers, and fillers to restore vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Evidence of ability to read job orders and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution and quality repair.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates with tools to repair panels.
• Hammer out dents, apply fillers, and restore damaged areas.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld or fit parts and repaint to factory standards.
• Meet labor time guidelines and inspect work for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
