Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier collision repair and customer service. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, quality, and safety in every job.

The role requires performing precise bodywork, using specialized tools, and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship on every vehicle. With a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction, you’ll contribute to a leading collision and glass service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repairs safely.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan required repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use tools to repair body sections and restore vehicle condition.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler resins, and repair structural damage.
• Realign chassis/frames to fix structural issues.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair or replace glass, interior parts; weld and repaint as needed.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect finished work.
