Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process.
• Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
• Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
• Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to access vehicle components.
• Participate in all required safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Supervise and direct apprentices when needed, explaining procedures and assisting with unusual problems.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

This is an hourly position paid based on hours worked, with additional productivity earnings based on delivered flag hours. The listed compensation range reflects the average full-time pay for this role.
