Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Kingsford, MI is offering a 30-day trial to qualify for our 18-month Technician Development Program. You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn basic auto body repairs, dent removal, sanding, and painting under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a willingness to learn. Prior shop or vocational training is preferred; I-CAR Gold Class is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; vocational training helpful.
• Some on-the-job experience preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs: dent removal, sanding, painting under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized workspace.
