Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking skilled auto body technicians to repair, refinish, and restore vehicles. You will read job orders, plan repairs, and use cutting tools to fix body damage.

Responsibilities include realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, repainting, and inspecting finished work for quality. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repairer preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use tools to repair vehicle bodies and components.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specifications.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interiors as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
