Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and ensure customer satisfaction by restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.

The role involves disassembling, repairing and reassembling vehicles, replacing damaged parts and glass, welding and repainting to factory standards, and inspecting work to meet KPIs.

Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Experience using auto body tools and repair equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged parts and glass; repair or replace interior parts as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles to factory standards; inspect work for KPIs.
