Job summary

D&S Automotive Collision and Restyling is seeking a Parts Assistant to support the flow of parts and supplies through the repair process. You will receive, inspect, and organize parts, coordinate with vendors and technicians, and assist with returns and inventory management in a fast-paced shop environment.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Reports to: Body Shop Parts Manager. Competitive compensation with medical, vision, dental, PTO, holidays, 401(k) matching, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts terminology preferred.
• Proficient with computers; valid driver’s license and background check ability required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries; verify accuracy and stage parts for repairs.
• Process parts returns with proper documentation and cores.
• Coordinate with estimators and technicians on ETAs and parts staging.
• Track orders and resolve issues with damaged or missing parts with drivers.
• Organize shop supplies and maintain inventory level; assist with invoicing support.
• Keep warehouse area clean and update parts cart board daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
