D&S Automotive in Mentor, Ohio, is hiring a Parts Assistant to support the flow of parts and supplies through the repair process. You will receive, inspect, and organize parts, coordinate with vendors and technicians, and assist with returns and inventory management.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, proactive organization, and clear communication. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, reporting to the Body Shop Parts Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts terminology.
• Proficient with computers; valid driver’s license and background check required.

Responsabilités

• Receive and inspect deliveries; verify accuracy and stage parts for repairs.
• Coordinate with estimators, technicians, and drivers on ETAs and parts staging.
• Maintain clean return area; document cores and returns with drivers.
• Track orders and resolve issues with damaged/missing parts; verify deliveries.
• Check in and organize shop supplies; manage inventory orders.
• Assist with invoice entry and scanning; support warehouse upkeep.
