Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance, teaching essential communication and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay range $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children.
• Teamwork to collaborate with BCBA and staff.
• Eligibility: 18+ years old and HS diploma/GED.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following individualized behavior plans.
• Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA under supervision and ensure child safety.
• Support movement and positioning requirements as needed.
