Job summary

ABA Support Services is urgently hiring a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data collection, assist with assessments, and support program implementation in our client programs.

The role involves documenting progress, assisting with training for staff and parents, and stepping in as lead therapist when needed, with a strong emphasis on safety and client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience in collecting and recording data on client behavior.
• Ability to assist with behavioral assessments and program implementation.
• Experience writing progress notes and creating session materials.
• Willingness to assume lead therapist duties when needed.
• Must have own transportation as per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining graphs and data summaries.
• Write progress notes, program updates, create session materials and stimuli, maintain program books.
• Participate in baseline, treatment, parent training and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session related activities.
• Utilize safe handling and guidance procedures when transporting or working with clients.
