Job summary

ABA Support Services in Scranton, PA is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data collection systems, assist with assessments and program implementation, and support staff and parent training. The role involves leading duties during temporary absences and hands-on client care.

Responsibilities include data collection, graph maintenance, progress notes, session materials, and collaboration with the lead therapist across baseline, treatment, and generalization

Qualifications

• Experience delivering behavioral services to children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Maintain up-to-date training/certification status in CPR, seizure training, child abuse reporting, professional crisis management, RBT license, and related trainings.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining graphs, summarizing and calculating data.
• Write progress notes and program updates, create session materials and stimuli, maintain program books.
• Participate in implementation of baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Assist with preparation and cleanup of session-related activities.
