Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with Autism or developmental disabilities.
• 1 year clinical/home/school direct services to children.
• Willing to learn early learning curriculum and behavioral principles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work with a range of functioning ASD.
• Motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible and patient in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist with graphs, data summaries, and data calculations.
• Write progress notes and program updates; create session materials.
• Assist with baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session activities and equipment.
• Support protocol dissemination and staff/parent training.
• Follow safe handling and guidance procedures with clients.
• Provide direct client care per behavioral protocols (one-on-one or group).
• Shadow/co-treat/treat 2–4 hours weekly.
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist.
• Report suspected child abuse within 24 hours.
