Job summary

ABA Support Services in the United States seeks a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data collection, assist with behavioral assessments, and help implement programs under supervision.

Responsibilities include recording data, maintaining graphs, writing progress notes, and supporting staff and parent training. Requires transportation and ability to travel to sites; 60 college credits with bachelor’s/master preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience providing behavioral services to children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• 1 year clinical/home/school direct services to children with Autism; training parents; supervising staff.
• Willing to learn early learning curriculum and apply behavioral principles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work with children across high to low functioning ASD environments.
• Motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal direction.
• Flexible, patient and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data on observable client behavior.
• Maintain up-to-date graphs and summarize data.
• Write progress notes, program updates, and prepare session materials.
• Assist with baseline, treatment, and parent training sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session activities and equipment.
• Support protocol dissemination, reviews, and staff/parent training.
• Utilize safe handling and guidance when transporting clients.
• Provide direct client care per prescribed behavioral programs.
• Shadow or co-treat and treat 2–4 hours weekly.
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist and address supervision questions.
