Job summary

Exhava Home Care is seeking experienced behavioral professionals to support autistic teens and young adults in homes and community settings. You will help clients apply therapy skills to real-world independence, focusing on daily living, communication, and self-regulation.

The role involves working directly in clients'' homes, collaborating with families and leadership, and addressing challenges with empathy and structured strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with autistic teens or adults.
• Experience supporting moderate to high-support needs.
• Experience managing aggression or severe emotional dysregulation.
• Crisis intervention training (CPI, PCM, QBS, Pro-ACT, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Are you an experienced RBT, BCaBA, BCBA, Special Education Professional, OT, or SLP looking to apply your skills beyond the clinic?

Our Autism Independence Program helps autistic teens and young adults apply skills learned through therapy and school into meaningful real-world independence.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly in homes and community settings while helping clients build confidence, communication, self-regulation, and daily living skills.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working with autistic teens or adults

Compensation:

• $35-$45/hour depending on experience
