- Pass a state-approved assessment (Workkeys, ParaPro, or Para Educator).
- Relevant job-related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Adapts classroom activities and materials under the supervising teacher to support students in various environments.
- Administers tests and assignments to support the lead teacher in the special education classroom.
- Assist in creating lesson plans for specialized classroom students.
- Supports medically fragile or physically disabled students with personal hygiene as needed.
- Communicates with staff and parents to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
