Qualifications

Valid Vermont teaching license preferred or eligible for VT licensure.
Special Education or Early Childhood endorsement strongly preferred.
Experience working with students with Autism and developmental differences preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized and small-group instruction under the guidance of case managers and special educators.
Implement existing IEP goals, behavior support plans, and instructional programs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
Collect and document student progress data to support ongoing instructional decisions.
Adapt materials and strategies to meet diverse learning profiles.
Support students’ successful participation in general education settings using inclusive practices.
Communicate effectively with families, general education teachers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals.
