Job summary

Young World Physical Education in Chelsea, MA, is seeking an Elementary Teacher for Students with Autism to start immediately. The teacher will provide specialized instruction according to each student’s IEP while fostering an inclusive and safe learning environment for academic and social growth.

Qualifications

• Current DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities or Severe Disabilities preferred.
• Experience working with students with Autism and knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
• Candidates close to licensure, eligible, or with a different DESE license are considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to address goals within each student’s IEP.
• Utilize positive reinforcement and classroom routines to create a safe learning environment.
• Maintain communication with families regarding student progress.
