Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Hillsboro, OR seeks enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

No prior experience required—comprehensive training is provided. Expect physical tasks and the need to lift up to 50 pounds as part of supporting children and families.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test within a year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
