Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support one-on-one sessions with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We offer comprehensive training and value patience, compassion, and teamwork. Candidates must be able to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed, and may carry out various activities throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not in past year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through structured teaching.
• Move and assist children as needed; participate in daily activities with safety.
