Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and support families daily.

We value patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Age 18+ required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test after onboarding.
• Background check required before employment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress under guidance of a BCBA.
• Maintain safety and comfort of the child during activities; support family goals.
