Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and physical stamina to assist children who may weigh up to 50 pounds; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age; HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.
• BACB certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team to support consistent implementation of plans.
• Maintain safety and well-being of children during activities.
