Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training, value patience and teamwork, and require the ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test within a year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support ongoing training and collaboration with the BCBA and team.
• Participate in activities that promote safety and engagement for children.
