Job summary

Devereux is seeking an Instructional Support Specialist to help children in an autism-focused educational program. You will support classrooms, supervise student safety, and collaborate with Special Education Teachers and Behavior Analysts in a structured 1:1 and small-group setting.

This full-time, year-round role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm. We offer a competitive pay rate of $17.50–$19.95/hour, paid benefits after 30 days, and opportunities through CARES to grow in behavior intervention, data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree or two years of post-secondary education preferred.
• Previous experience in special education or behavioral healthcare with students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Ensure children's welfare and safety during all times including arrivals and dismissals.
• Support skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs with teachers.
• Perform ongoing data collection and record-keeping as directed.
• Support PBIS goals and objectives with the team.
