Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in West Chester, PA is seeking an Instructional Support Specialist to join our School for Integrated Learning, a program serving students with behavioral and developmental differences. You will work on a multidisciplinary team, implement individualized plans, support classroom activities, and help ensure a safe, engaging learning environment while documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficient communication skills. Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the children in your care with their individualized plans for daily life.
• Support the children with classroom activities
• Ensure the students are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of the client.
