Responsibilities

• Develops IEPs for students with disabilities and uses assessment data to update IEPs.
• Implements instructional strategies and progress monitoring for specially designed instruction.
• Assists students in completing curriculum tasks and IEP goals.
• Employs varied teaching methods and adapts materials to student needs.
• Monitors student behavior and maintains classroom discipline.
• Evaluates student progress and coordinates grades and reports.
• Attends IEP meetings as a collaborative team member.
• Keeps informed on trends and best practices through professional development.
