Job summary

Qualifications

• :Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
• :Hold NC Professional Educator's License in Exceptional Children's area
• :Experience with IEP development and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develops IEPs for students with disabilities and updates as needed.
• Implements instructional strategies with progress monitoring.
• Assists students to complete curriculum tasks and IEP goals.
• Uses diverse teaching methods and adjusts materials.
• Monitors student behavior and maintains classroom discipline.
• Attends IEP meetings as a collaborative team member.
• Keeps current with trends, research and best practices through PD.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
