Qualifications

• Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality under FERPA and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Develops IEPs for students with disabilities; updates IEPs using diagnostic information.
• Implements instructional strategies and progress monitoring tools to provide specially designed instruction.
• Assists students in completing curriculum tasks and achieving IEP goals.
• Employs methods, accommodations, and modifications to meet student needs and adapt materials.
• Monitors student behavior; maintains classroom discipline; teaches behavioral strategies.
• Participates in IEP meetings and collaborates with the team.
