Job summary

Autism Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated Special Education Certified Teacher to provide individualized and small-group instruction for children with autism. You will develop IEP-driven programs, collaborate with behavior analysts, SLPs, OTs, and families, and supervise Teacher's Assistants in planning and implementing treatment plans.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, year-round. Candidates should hold Texas certifications in Special and General Education and prefer experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Current Texas Certification in Special Education and General Education.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction, IEP/IEP, and positive behavior support.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality services to children and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with student goals.
• Develop lesson plans for diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to integrate educational and behavioral strategies.
• Monitor student progress and maintain educational documentation.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to inform instructional planning.
• Foster a safe, structured, supportive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with state standards and organizational policies.
• Assist in supervising Teacher's Assistants.
