Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training; you may not need prior experience. The position involves physical activity, with pay range $20–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
