Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

Training is provided, and a supportive team environment helps you grow in this people-centered role. Key duties include teaching communication, social, and daily living skills, while ensuring safety and handling challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
• High school diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid and TB test may be needed.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Assist BCBA in delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and adapt positions to support clients as needed.
