Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA.

You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods and support families daily. We provide comprehensive training; physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally helping with transfers.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test per policy.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Follow BCBA guidance and document progress and outcomes.
• Engage families and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
