Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Training is provided, and you will join a supportive team dedicated to making a difference. Pay rate is $16 - $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Age 18+ and legal eligibility to work.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test must be obtainable.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• On onboarding, obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Address interfering behaviors to support learning and safety.
