Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Applicants should be patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team, and ready to participate in comprehensive training. The role may involve standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and a compassionate approach to children with autism.
• 18+ years old and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test; successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Maintain physical activity; move, lift, or carry children up to 50 pounds as needed.
